The International Network for Girls (INfG), consisting of more than 400 organizations and individuals in 60 countries, was formed in 1995 in preparation for the Beijing Conference and to bring visibility to girls and lobby governments. Since Beijing we have expanded our efforts to move the agenda forward and hold governments accountable. We are following the progress of government commitments on behalf of girls and preparing a monitoring report to be published and disseminated at the UN Commission of the Status of Women (CSW) meeting in March 1998.
